Biosolids Air Drying
Epsom Environmental Services has established contracts with water authorities for the annual drying of biosolids. Dying projects are generally completed over the summer months with the biosolids being dried up to 75%DS and then stockpiled.
- Equipment commonly used for drying includes the following:
- Massy Ferguson tractor and Seymour 4000 windrow turner;
- 5m3 front end loader complete with 900mm wide flotation tyres for low ground pressure work;
- Tractor trailing blade for windrow turning
- And two 20 tonne excavators equipped with specially designed buckets to avoid excavation of floor material whilst turning or loading.
All equipment has been designed or modified to avoid excavation of floor material. We are confident with our equipment as we design and construct all of our excavator attachments and much of the plant.
